Bio
Kori Wedeking begins her first year as a pitching coach with the NIACC softball program in the 2025-2026 season.
Prior to joining the staff at NIACC, Wedeking was a graduate assistant coach at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, S.D.
Wedeking graduated from Clarksville High School, where she was a four-time, first-team all-state pitcher. She had a 109-18 record in the circle with 1,052 strikeouts and a 0.98 ERA.
After high school, Wedeking was a two-time first-team all-region selection and two-time all-region pitcher of the year. She also earned All-America honors in both 2021 and 2022. In her two seasons at Kirkwood, Wedeking had a 50-10 record with 410 strikeouts and an ERA of 1.79. She helped Kirkwood place third and seventh at nationals.
After two seasons at Kirkwood, Wedeking transferred to the University of South Dakota. She helped the Coyotes in her two seasons with 17 wins in the circle and 154 strikeouts. Wedeking graduated with a degree in communications.
