Bio

Katie Cooling begins her first season as an assistant coach for the NIACC women's soccer team in the 2025 season.

Cooling played for the Trojans in 2019 and the 2021 spring season. Cooling was a team captain and an honorable mention all-region performer during her sophomore season in the spring of 2021.

After NIACC, Cooling played soccer at Waldorf University from 2021-23.

At Waldorf, Cooling was on the dean's list three times. She was also an NAIA scholar-athlete in 2022 and 2023.

Cooling graduated from Waldorf in December of 2023 with a BA in elementary education with endorsements in reading, social studies and coaching.

Cooling is a fourth-grade teacher at Hoover Elementary School in Mason City.
