NIACC men fall to Iowa lakes in regional semifinals

ESTHERVILLE — NIACC was unable to build off the upset win it scored Tuesday over Southwestern as it fell 83-66 to Iowa Lakes in Thursday's Region XI semifinal.
"I just appreciate how these kids do things," NIACC coach Mark Mohl said. "They're good kids, they go to class and I'm just extremely proud of them. Basketball is a small facet of the deal and these kids just get it."
Luke Mascall-Wright led the Trojans, who were up 39-30 at half, with 20 points and Boy Van Vliet added 18.
Tywon Bressler and Chris Jones combined for 37 points to lead the Lakers.
