NIACC men host Iowa Lakes tonight in ICCAC contest

MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team returns to action tonight in a home ICCAC contest against Iowa Lakes.

Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. in the NIACC gym.

NIACC (13-7 overall, 1-3 i the ICCAC) dropped a 76-56 decision to DMACC on Jan. 20. Boy Van Vliet led the Trojans with 21 points.

Southwestern topped Iowa Lakes (12-7, 2-2) 83-78 last Saturday.

Notes: Van Vliet has 563 career points, 70 career 3-point goals (tied for 21st on school's career list), 158 career assists (27th on school's career list) and 83 career steals ... Trei Mitchell has 133 career assists (36th on school's career list) and 76 career steals ... Mitchell has 50 steals this season (tied for 40th on school's single-season list).
