NIACC men top Saint Mary's JV, 75-61

MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team topped the University of Saint Mary's-Winona junior varsity 75-61 in nonconference action Monday night in the NIACC gym.

Sophomore Boy Van Vliet scored 25 points with nine assists and six rebounds to lead the Trojan.

Also for the Trojans, sophomore Trei Mitchell scored 14 points with six assists and six rebounds. James Wanjara scored 12 points and Court Christianson scored 10 points.

Career numbers: Van Vliet has 428 points, 51 3-point goals, 136 rebounds, 135 assists and 72 steals ... Mitchell has 178 points, 108 assists, 94 rebounds and 62 steals ... Angus Fischer has 153 points and 119 rebounds.
