NIACC men stop Luther JV, 80-53

DECORAH - Following a rough game at the Briar Cliff JV Monday, NIACC was able to bounce back with an 80-53 win over the Luther JV on Thursday.

"I thought everybody that played, played exceptionally hard," NIACC coach Mark Mohl said.

Luke Mascall-Wright scored 15 points to lead the Trojans and Angus Fischer added 11.

"Offensively, (Luke) has been very, very good but I thought he played well defensively tonight," Mohl said.

NIACC (8-4) plays at the Association Free Lutheran Bible School today.

Notes: NIACC is 8-1 all-time vs. the Luther College Junior Varsity ... Mohl is 3-0 all-time vs. the Luther JV ... Boy Van Vliet has 389 career points, 45 career 3-point goals, 130 career rebounds, 125 career assists and 69 career steals ...
