NIACC men top Graceland JV, 93-51

MASON CITY - Freshman Luke Mascall-Wright recorded his first career double-double with 20 points and a career-best 13 rebounds to lead NIACC to a 93-51 victory over the Graceland University Junior Varsity Tuesday night in the NIACC gym.

Mascall-Wright also contributed four assists and four steals.

Court Christianson scored 13 points for the Trojans, who improved to 6-3 overall. The Trojans also received 11 points from Boy Van Vliet and 10 points from Trei Mitchell.

NIACC also received 10 rebounds each from freshman James Wanjara and George Ivens.

NIACC led 50-24 at the half and outscored the Yellowjackets 43-27 in the second half for its second straight win.

The NIACC men return to action Sunday at the LIttle Priest Tribal College. Game time is set for 4 p.m.
