NIACC men stop Pure Prep Academy, 97-61
MASON CITY - The NIACC men's basketball team improved to 10-5 overall with a 97-61 nonconference victory over Pure Prep Academy Saturday afternoon in the NIACC gym.
It was the third straight win for the Trojans, who host DCTC on Wednesday in their final tuneup before ICCAC play begins on Jan. 14 when the Trojan host DMACC.
Freshman Josh White scored 17 points to lead NIACC. The Trojans also received 14 points from Matt Baker and 10 each from Nick Wurm and Jason Gumm.
