DULUTH, Minn. - The NIACC men's soccer team topped Lake Superior College 3-2 on Sunday.
The Trojans received two goals from Mike Merchant and one from Owen Muller and improved to 2-0 on the season.
NIACC opened the season Saturday night with a 2-1 double-overtime victory over DCTC.
It is the second time in the Jonathan Platt era that the Trojans have started 2-0. In 2015, the Trojans started the season with four straight wins.
NIACC returns to action Thursday in its home opener against the Gustavus Adolphus Junior Varsity. Match time is set for 4 p.m.
