Bio
Alec Hayes begins his eighth season as an assistant coach with the NIACC men's and women's track and field programs starting in the 2025-26 season coaching the jumpers.
At the 2023 indoor national meet, NIACC's Fabian Steene placed sixth in the high jump with a leap of 6 feet, 6 1/4 inches.
At the 2024 outdoor national meet, the Trojans' Terrence Thomas placed third in the long jump with a leap of 24-8 1/4.
Hayes, who competed for the Trojans in 2018-19, ranks fifth on NIACC's indoor high jump all-time best list with a leap of 6 feet, 2 3/4 inches at the NJCAA Region 11 Championships in 2018
He also ranks fifth on the Trojans' outdoor high jump list with a leap of 6-4 3/4 at the NJCAA Region 11 Championships in 2019.
