No. 9 NIACC women host Iowa Western
MASON CITY - The No. 9 (NJCAA Division II) NIACC women's basketball team hosts Iowa Western in a nonconference contest on Saturday in the NIACC gym.
Game time is set for 5 p.m.
No. 18 (NJCAA Division I) Iowa Western (3-2) dropped a 74-69 decision to NDSCS on Nov. 15. The Reivers topped No. 1 (NJCAA Division II) Kirkwood 55-52 in its season-opener on Nov. 3.
Iowa Western has won 13 straight games against NIACC. The last win by the Lady Trojans in the series was a 84-81 win in the 2004-05 season.
NIACC (4-0) is coming off a pair of wins at the Dale Howard Classic in Iowa Falls on Nov. 10-11. The Lady Trojans topped Milwaukee Area Tech 134-45 and whipped Harper College 121-28.
