NIACC's Maasch, Tusler begin play at nationals
BRASELTON, Ga. - NIACC's Brooke Maasch and Courtney Tusler began play Monday morning at the NJCAA Division I women's golf tournament at the Chateau Elan Golf Club.
The four-round tournament concludes on Thursday.
Maasch tied for 10th with a season-best round of 90 at the NJCAA Region XI tournament to qualify for the national tournament. Tusler tied for 12th with her round of 95.
The regional tournament was shortened to 18 holes due to inclement weather.
It is the 11th straight season that NIACC coach Chris Frenz has had at least one women's golfer qualify for the national tournament.
