MASON CITY - The NIACC women's soccer match dropped a 6-1 decision to Iowa Central Wednesday afternoon on the NIACC campus.

The match, which was suspended on Sept. 20, was resumed Wednesday with 24 minutes, 5 seconds remaining in the contest with Iowa Central leading 3-0.

NIACC scored first on Wednesday when Amelia Briseno scored on a penalty kick with 21:46 remaining in the contest.

After NIACC trimmed the deficit to 3-1, the Tritons scored the final three goals of the match to claim the 5-goal victory.

NIACC returns to action Saturday at DCTC. Match time is slated for 3 p.m. in Rosemount, Minn.
