NIACC's Gonzague places third in 600 at UNI indoor meet
CEDAR FALLS - NIACC's Keisha Gonzague placed third in the 600-meter run in a personal-best time of 1 minute, 49.60 seconds at Northern Iowa's Jack Jennett Invitational in the UNI-Dome on Friday.
NIACC freshman Jaylynn Scrivner placed fourth in the 400-meter dash in a personal-best time of 1:03.26 seconds.
NIACC's 4x400-meter relay team of Dashawn Wyatt, Amy Fullerton, Gonzague and Elizabeth Mennen placed third in a time of 4:36.11.
Also Friday for the NIACC women, Anna Frisch was 10th in the mile in a time of 5:51.52.
The NIACC women placed ninth in the team standings with 21 points.
For the NIACC men, Timothi McMaster and Prince Buduo narrowly missed qualifying for the finals (top eight) in the 60-meter dash. McMaster ran 7.17, which was the ninth fastest qualifying time, and Boduo ran 7.18, which was the 10th fastest qualifying time.
