Vance paces Trojans at Griak Invite
ST. PAUL, Minn. - Sophomore Lukas Vance paced the NIACC men's cross country team Friday in the Jo Rider Maroon Race at the University of Minnesota Roy Griak Invitational.
Vance placed 199th in a time of 30 minutes, 40 seconds on the 8-kilometer course on the Les Bolstad Golf Course. NIACC freshman Xander Graeser was 200th in a time of 30:40.
NIACC placed 20th in the Division II/III race with 672 points.
Also for the Trojans on Friday, Alex Almelien was 256th in a time of 34:10, Nikolli Mosley was 264th in 35:49 and Colby Essing was 265th (35:59).
NIACC returns to action on Oct. 10 at the Indian Hills Invitational in Ottumwa.
