NIACC women move to 2-0, 71-28
MASON CITY - The NIACC women 's basketball team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 71-28 victory over Minnesota North College-Itasca on Saturday afternoon at the Konigsmark Klassic.
NIACC led 23-5 after the end of the first quarter and cruised to the non-league victory.
Nariyah Parks led the Trojans with 16 points. Kameron Jones was next in line with 9 points.
A total of 13 Trojans scored in Saturday's contest.
Niam O'Leary led the Trojans with eight rebounds. Audrey Martinez-Stewart paced the Trojans with six assists.
NIACC returns to action next weekend at the Dale Howard Classic in Iowa Falls.
