Iowa Western women top NIACC
MASON CITY - The NIACC women's basketball team dropped a 90-32 decision to Iowa Western in an ICCAC contest Saturday afternoon in the NIACC gym.
Iowa Western led 45-4 at the half and outscored the Lady Trojans 45-28 in the second half.
Iowa Western was led by Gabriella Smith with 15 points. Five other Reivers reached double figures.
NIACC (0-5) was led by Czarina Mada with 11 points. Haley Hungerholt scored nine points and Kourtney Manning scored eight points.
NIACC recorded a season-high 12 steals against the Reivers. The previous season high was 11 steals against DMACC on Jan. 23.
