NIACC, Kirkwood meet at regional tournament
CLINTON - The NIACC baseball team will face Kirkwood at 1 p.m. Friday in the second round of the NJCAA Region XI tournament at Ashford University Field.
NIACC advanced in the winner's bracket with a 7-2 opening-round win over Northeast CC Thursday evening. Sophomore Spencer Chirpich gained the complete-game win,
Kirkwood moved on with a 9-1 win over DMACC on Thursday.

Note - Two elimination games are set for noon and 3 p.m. on Sunday with the championship game set for 6 p.m. Sunday. If necessary, a second championship game will be played at noon on Monday.
