Trojans' Wiltshire sets school mark in 200
AMES - Freshman Romanica Wiltshire set the NIACC school record in the 200-meter dash Saturday at the Iowa State Cyclone Open.
Wiltshire placed seventh in the 200 in a time of 26.04 seconds. Wiltshire broke the old school mark of 26.15 held by Adrine Monagi at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville Invitational on Feb. 14, 2015.
Indian Hills' Karlisa Mungen won the 200 in a time of 24.71.
Also in the 200, NIACC's Abby Chapman was 16th in a time of 27.08 and Addison Adam was 23rd in 27.44, which ranks ninth on the school's all-time indoor 200 list.
Wiltshire also placed fourth in the 60 in a time of 7.72 seconds. Iowa Central's Brianna Wilson won the event in 7.64.
In the high jump, NIACC's Kiara Colton-Spearman placed sixth with a jump of 1.43 meters (4 feet, 8 1/4 inches).
