Trojans set school record in 4x100
CANTON, Mo. - NIACC's Romanica Wiltshire, Addison Adam, Abby Chapman and Suzanne Guedeyi set a school reocrd in the 4x100-meter relay on Saturday at Culver-Stockton's Wildcat Invitational.
The foursome covered the 400 meters in a time of 48.69 and broke the old school mark of 49.32 held by Priscillar John, Adrine Monagi, Dieuwertje Boelen and Shante Hawkins set at the Jim Duncan Invite on April 12, 2024.
The Trojans placed second in the event. Washburn University won the 4x100 in a time of 46.24.
Also for the Trojans Saturday, Kiara Colton-Spearman won the 100-meter hurdles in a time of 15.65, which ranks third on the school's all-time list.
Wiltshire placed fifth in the 200 in a time of 25.51, which ranks second on the school's all-time outdoor 200 list.
Wiltshire was fourth in the 100 in a time of 12.21. Adam was ninth in the 100 in a time of 12.69, whch is ranks third on the school's all-time list.
Colton-Spearman was sixth in the high jump (1.47 meters, 4 foot, 9 3/4 inches).
The Trojans placed seventh in the 4x400-meter relay in a time of 4:14.73 running Guedeyi, Peyton Meincke, Colton-Spearman and Abby Durflinger.
