NIACC's Wiltshire wins 200 at Mark Schuck Open
MANKATO, Minn. - NIACC freshman Romanica Wiltshire won the 200-meter dash Friday at Minnesota State's Mark Schuck Open and Multi in a time of 26.28 seconds.
NIACC's Abby Chapman was fourth in the 200 in a time of 27.01 seconds. The Trojans' Addison Adam was seventh (27.48) and Suzanne Guedeyi was eighth (27.57).
Guedeyi's time of 27.57 moved her into 10th place on NIACC's all-time 200-meter dash indoor list.
NIACC's Breanna Swaby was 25th in the weight throw with a toss of 12.82 meters (42 feet, 0 3/4 inches). Swaby was 37th in the shot put with a toss of 9.70 meters (31-10).
The Trojans' Hannah Brinkman was 35th in the weight throw (11.06 meters/36-3 1/2) and 38th in the shot put (9.66 meters/31-8 1/2).
NIACC was 16th in the 4x400-meter relay in a time of 4:17.23 running Chapman, Adam, Guedeyi and Abby Durflinger.
NIACC returns to action Feb. 6-7 at the Northwest Missouri State Bearcat Open in Maryville, Mo.
