No. 12 Indian Hills tops NIACC men, 95-67
OTTUMWA - The No. 12 (NJCAA Division I) Indian Hills men's basketball team topped NIACC 95-67 Saturday afternoon.
Indian Hills (3-1 overall) led 43-36 at the half.
NIACC (0-4 overall) was led by sophomore guard McKelary Robertson with a career-high 19 points. Robertson, who connected on four 3-point field goals, also had three assists and two steals.
Also for the Trojans, freshman Bradley Andrews scored nine points with four rebounds and two assists. Sophomore Marshaun Carroll scored nine points with three assists and two rebounds.
Freshman Tysen Brennan led the Trojans with six rebounds.
NIACC was 12 of 36 from 3-point range. Andrews and Carroll both connected on two 3-point goals. The 12 3-pointer for the Trojans was a season high.
NIACC returns to action Wednesday at home against Southeastern. Game time is slated for 7 p.m. in the NIACC gym.
