Southeastern men top NIACC, 90-74
BURLINGTON - The NIACC men's basketball team dropped a 90-74 decision to Southeastern Tuesday night in an ICCAC contest.
Southeastern led 53-35 at the half and NIACC outscored the Blackhawks 39-37 in the second 20 minutes.
Southeastern was led by Jesiah West with 22 points, eight rebounds, four assists and two steals. Also for the Blackhawks, Koby Isaac scored 15 points and Kennedy Milton scored 13 points.
NIACC was led by sophomore guard McKelary Robertson with 13 points. Cameron Vaugh scored 11 points and Bradley Andrews scored 10 points.
Also for the Trojans, Marshaun Carroll scored seven points with four rebounds and a career-high seven assists. Noah Rigatuso scored six points and grabbed seven rebounds.
Southeastern completed the regular season sweep of the Trojans. The Blackhawks won 84-60 in Mason City on Feb. 3.
NIACC (1-10 overall, 1-10 in ICCAC) returns to action Thursday at home against Iowa Lakes. Game time is slated for 7 p.m. in the NIACC gym.
