ROSEMOUNT, Minn. - The NIACC men's soccer team opened the 2025 season with a 3-1 non-conference victory over DCTC Tuesday.
It is the third straight season that the Trojans have won their season opener.
In Tuesday's two-goal victory, the Trojans received goals from Matias Campos, Miguel Arnaiz de Leon and Abran Kooistra.
"We got off to a hot start with the first goal," NIACC coach Gannon Harsma said, "but we struggled after we got a red card in the second half.
"The team fought like heck to seal the win."
NIACC returns to action Friday against Lamar CC in Garden City, Kan. Match time is slated for 3 p.m.
