FORT DODGE - The NIACC men's soccer team topped Iowa Central 3-0 Wednesday in a non-conference contest.
The match was tied 0-0 at the half but the Trojans scored three unanswered goals in the second half to claim the shutout victory.
"I am extremely happy to see the sense of belief and confidence back in the squad," NIACC coach Gannon Harsma said.
Scoring for the Trojans on Wednesday were Charlie Ronald (60th minute), Maximilian Torres (72nd minute) and Max Polson (82nd minute).
NIACC (5-1-1 overall) opens the ICCAC season Saturday at Iowa Lakes. Match time in Spencer is slated for 3:30 p.m.
