MASON CITY - The NIACC men's soccer team upset No. 5 Southeastern CC Wednesday afternoon in an ICCAC match on the NIACC campus.
NIACC took a 2-0 lead at the half with goals from Harry Twinn and Maximilian Torres. The Trojans held the Blackhawks scoreless for 90 minutes as they suffered their first loss in ICCAC play.
Torres assisted on Twinn's goal in the 14th minute. Torres scored his goal on a free kick in the 26th minute.
NIACC's Tom Burstow gained the win in goal stopping all three of the shots he faced.
NIACC wrapped up its regular season with an ovreall record of 7-5-4 and a league mark of 2-4-3. Southeastern fell to 11-3-3 overall and 6-1-2 in the ICCAC.
