MASON CITY - The NIACC men's soccer team stopped the Luther College Junior Varsity Monday in a non-conference match on the NIACC campus.
The Trojans led 1-0 at the half on a goal from Max Polson.
Rafael Gutierrez Martin scored the Trojans' second half goal on an assist from Bruno Ortega Peris.
David North gained the win in goal for the Trojans.
NIACC (4-1-1 overall) returns to action Sept. 17 in a non-conference contest at Iowa Central. Match time is slated for 6 p.m. in Fort Dodge.
