Trojans' Codling places 2nd in 200
MANKATO, Minn. - NIACC's Xavier Codling placed second in the 200-meter dash on Friday at Minnesota State's Mark Schuck Open and Multi in a time of 22.08 seconds.
Codling's time of 22.08 ranks third on the school's all-time indoor 200 list.
Also in the 200, NIACC's Aldaine Angus placed eighth (22.95) and Tyjah Bishop placed 12th (23.17).
In the 200 on Saturday, NIACC's Kasin Byre placed 16th in a time of 22.81, which ranks 10th on the school's all-time indoor 200 list.
In the 400-meter dash on Saturday, NIACC's Gabe Hemsworth placed eighth in a time of 51.31, which ranks ninth on the school's all-time indoor 400 list.
In the mile on Saturday, NIACC's Gavin Grunhovd placed 17th in a time of 4:24.41, which ranks fourth on the school's all-time indoor mile list.
In the high jump on Saturday, NIACC's Kahuan Harris placed seventh with a leap of 1.90 meters (6 feet, 2 3/4 inches), which is tied for seventh on the school's indoor high jump list.
In the long jump on Saturday, NIACC's Aldaine Angus placed ninth with a leap of 7.02 meters (23-0 1/2). Harris placed 10th also in 7.02 meters (23-0 1/2). Both Angus and Harris are tied for second on the school's all-time indoor long jump list.
In the shot put on Saturday, NIACC's Colin Rasch placed 29th with a toss of 13/85 meters (43-5 1/4), which ranks fourth on the school's all-time indoor shot put list.
NIACC returns to action Feb. 6-7 at the Northwest Missouri State Bearcat Open in Maryville, Mo.
