VINCENNES, Ind. - The NIACC baseball team split a pair of games Friday at the Vincennes Invitational.
NIACC (3-8 overall) topped Lincoln Trail College 13-6 and dropped a 5-3 decision to Vincennes University.
In the win over Lincoln Trail College, NIACC scored two runs in the first inning, seven runs in the second inning, one run in the third and fifth innings and two runs in the seventh inning.
Lincoln Trail College scored two runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings.
In the loss to Vincennes University, NIACC scored single runs in the first, third and fourth innings.
Vincennes University plated four runs in the third inning and a single run in the fifth inning.
NIACC returns to action Saturday with a doubleheader against Kellogg CC.
