Trojans rained out at Simpson Fall Invite
INDIANOLA - The NIACC women's golf team competed Wednesday at the Simpson College Fall Invitational.
However, the invitational was not completed due to inclement weather.
"The women (Wednesday) had a tough one," NIACC coach Chris Frenz said. "We got eight holes in and then there was a rain/lightning delay for an hour and a half.
"They got back out there and three of them finished and then it opened up and just poured and there was lightning, so they had to call the tournament."
NIACC sophomore Addy Boell completed her round with a career-best 79.
NIACC returns to action Saturday and Sunday at the Buena Vista Fall Invitational.
