Boell leads Trojans at Waldorf Fall Challenge
LAKE MILLS - NIACC sophomore Addy Boell shot an 84 and tied for eighth place Monday at the Waldorf University Fall Challenge at the Rice Lake Golf Course.
Boell's 84 was one off her career-best round of 83 at the Grand View University Fall Invitational on Oct. 14, 2024.
"Addy Boell played a very clean round (Monday)," NIACC assistant coach JJ Wickman said. "Her course management and strategy stood out most, especially at a demanding course like Rice Lake."
NIACC placed fourth in the team standings with a team score of 346. Simpson College was the team champion with a score of 320 and Buena Vista University was second with a team score of 331.
Also for the Trojans Monday, freshman Avery Knutsen shot 86, sophomore Ashlyn Berven shot 87, freshman Emma Topp shot 88, freshman Audrey Overgaard shot 88 and sophomore Danielle Randick shot 95.
Playing as an individual for the Trojans, sophomore Kaiya Holten shot 100.
"Avery Knutsen left the course a bit frustrated (Monday)," Wickman said, "but I think this will light a fire under her for a strong finish to the year."
