No. 3 NIACC women top Northeast CC, 77-66
FORT DODGE - The No. 3 NIACC women's basketball team remained perfect on the 2019-20 season.
The Lady Trojans improved to 7-0 Saturday with a 77-66 victory over Northeast CC at the Great Western Shootout on the Iowa Central campus.
NIACC led 39-28 at the half.
Sophomore Kelcie Hale led the Lady Trojans with 14 points, including four 3-point goals, four assists and three rebounds. Sierra Lynch scored 13 points with five rebounds and four assists.
Also for NIACC, Autam Mendez scored 12 points, including four 3-point goals.
NIACC returns to action next Saturday and Sunday at the NIACC Thanksgiving Challenge in the NIACC gym.
