No. 4 NIACC women roll past DMACC, 85-52
MASON CITY - Autam Mendez scored 25 points with 10 rebounds to lift No. 4 NIACC to a 85-52 victory over DMACC Saturday in an ICCAC contest in the NIACC gym.
Mendez also added three assists and three steals as NIACC won for the 28th straight time at home. It was Mendez' seventh double/double of the season and 15th of her career.
NIACC improved its overall record to 23-1 overall and 10-0 in the ICCAC. Earlier this week, NIACC stopped No. 1 Kirkwood 63-60.
NIACC, which has won 11 straight games, also recriced 13 points from freshman Sydney Wetlaufer and nine apiece from Andrea Gray and Shinaana Secody.
Freshman Sierra Morrow scored seven points with seven rebounds and six blocked shots.
NIACC returns to action Wednesday at Iowa Lakes.
