NIACC women move up to 4th
MASON CITY - The NIACC women's basketball team is ranked fourth in the latest NJCAA Division II poll released Monday.
NIACC (21-1 overall, 8-0 in the ICCAC) topped Iowa Central (90-59) and Southeastern (71-61).
It is the 36th straight poll that the NIACC women have been ranked in dating back to the start of the 2017-18 season.
Kirkwood (20-1) remained No. 1 in this week's poll. Lincoln Land (20-1) is ranked second and Highland (Kan.) (16-0) is ranked third.
NIACC and Kirkwood meet Wednesday in Cedar Rapids in their first of two regular season contests.
