NIACC's Morrow selected to all-tourney team
EAST PEORIA, Ill. - NIACC freshman Sierra Morrow was selected to the all-tournament team at the Cougar Holiday Tournament on Monday.
Morrow scored 43 points with 18 rebounds and 19 blocked shots in the three games to help lead the Lady Trojans to a fifth-place finish.
Morrow scored 20 points with seven rebounds and nine blocked shots in an opening round loss to Bryant & Stratton (Wis.). She scored 11 points with seven rebounds and five blocked shots in a consolation round victory over Sauk Valley CC.
Morrow scored 12 points with four rebounds and five blocked shots in the Lady Trojans' 89-66 win in Monday's fifth-place contest.
Morrow leads NJCAA Division II with 80 blocked shots. Morrow averages 15.1 and 8.3 rebounds per game.
No. 2 NIACC (14-1 overall, 1-0 in ICCAC) returns to action Jan. 8 at home against Little Priest Tribal College in an ICCAC contest.
