NIACC's Voves is co-ICCAC women's golfer of week
MASON CITY - NIACC sophomore Ashley Voves was selected as the co-ICCAC women's golfer of the week for the week of April 12-18.
Voves, who is from Cresco, shared the honor with Iowa Lakes' freshman Isabella Santistevan.
Voves earned meet medalist honors at the NIACC Spring Invitational on April 15 with a career-best round of 80.
On April 16, Voves followed up her medalist honors with a runner-up medalist performance at the Hawkeye CC Spring Invitational with an 86. NIACC's Thea Lunning earned meet medalist honors at the Hawkeye CC Spring Invite with a round of 80.
NIACC returns to action Saturday and Sunday at the NJCAA Region XI tournament at the Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny.
