NIACC wins 2 events at Grand View Invitational
DES MOINES - The NIACC men's track and field team won two events at the Grand View Invitatational on Saturday.
NIACC's Tinashe Chigudu won the 100-meter dash in a time of 10.71 seconds.
Also, the Trojans' 4x800-meter relay team of John Hunt, Pudens Kipkosgei, Richard Marcoux and Janvier Irakoze won in a time of 8:29.93.
Also for the NIACC men, Marcoux was third in the 1,500 (4:20.03). Titus Jackson placed sixth in the 200 (22.42) and eighth in the 100 (11.07).
Kipkosgei was seventh in the 800 in a time of 2:05.63, Michael Moore-Fondren was sixth in the high jump (1.50 meters) and Walker Sobolik was ninth in the 400 (53.10).
