NIACC set to compete at national track and field meet
LEVELLAND, Texas - The NIACC men's track and field team will begin competition at the NJCAA Division I national meet on Tuesday.
The three-day national meet will be held at South Plains College.
On Tuesday, NIACC's Melvin Kipkemboi and Vicente Correia will compete in the 10-kilometer run at 7:50 p.m. The Trojans' John Hunt, Pudens Kipkosgei, Bryden Juelsgaard and Richard Marcoux will run the 4x800-meter relay at 5:15 p.m.
On Wednesday, NIACC's Tinashe Chigudu will run in the 100-meter dash prelims at 2:50 p.m.
On Thursday, the Trojans' Kameron Glasper will throw the discus at 1 p.m. and Kipkemboi will run the 5K at 3:50 p.m.
