NIACC's Chigudu places 15th in 60-meter dash
PITTSBURG, Kan. - NIACC's Tinashe Chigudu clocked a 6.82 in the 60-meter prelims on Friday at the NJCAA Division I indoor track and field championships to place 15th.
It took a 6.75 to make the men's 60-meter finals.
Also for the NIACC men on Friday, the Trojans placed 17th in the distance medley relay in a time of 10:57.46 running Richard Marcoux, Braden Powers, John Hunt and Christian Rodriguez.
NIACC's Daqwan Sanders was 22nd in the 60-meter hurdles prelims in a time of 8.64, which is the third fastest in school history.
NIACC's Matt Seberson was 25th in the long jump with a leap of 6.01 meters.
On Saturday, NIACC's Kameron Glasper placed 17th in the weight throw with a toss of 43 feet, 6 1/2 inches.
For the NIACC women on Friday, NIACC's Lynn Hoeft placed 16th in the prelims of the 60-meter hurdles. Hoeft clocked a 10.17 in her preliminary race, which is the fourth fastest time in school history.
Also on Friday, NIACC's Katyrra Peck was 25th in the 60-meter prelims in a time of 8.36.
