NIACC's Sobolik places 4th in decathlon
COUNCIL BLUFFS - NIACC's Walker Sobolik placed fourth place in the decathlon Monday at the NJCAA Region XI championships with 2,862 points.
Iowa Central's Aries Scott is in first place with 5,292 points, Iowa Western's Forest Pribbernow is in second place (4,669 points) and Iowa Central's Camron Ventura is in third place (4,514 points). The pole vault is set for Tuesday and Sobolik will no height in the pole vault.
On Monday, Sobolik was fourth in the 110-meter hurdles (30.89 seconds), fourth in the discus (61 feet, 4 inches), was third in the javelin (96-7) and fourth in the 1,500 (5:53.78).
