NIACC sets school mark in 4x100
HUTCHINSON, Kan. - The foursome of Michael Moore-Fondren, Tinashe Chigudu, Titus Jackson and Bernard Bell set a school record in the 4x100-meter relay on Thursday at the NJCAA Division I national championships.
NIACC ran the 4x100 in a time of 40.75 seconds in the preliminaries. The Trojans, who missed making the finals by .3, had the 12th fastest time in the prelims with the top eight making the finals.
The old school 4x100 record was 41.97 at the 2018 NJCAA Region XI meet running Timothi McMaster, Kyle Younker, Kalen Eastman and Deionte Ganzy.

4:05 p.m. - 200 prelims (Chigudu).
4:50 p.m. - 3,000-meter steeplechase (Melvin Kipkemboi).
Saturday, May 21
10 a.m. - Javelin (Randry Mugisha).
1 p.m. - Discus (Kameron Glasper).
3:50 p.m. - 5,000-meter run (Kipkemboi)
Note: The 100-meter dash final is set for 2 p.m. on Saturday. The 200-meter dash final is at 3:15 p.m. Saturday.
