No. 14 NIACC baseball team sweeps DCTC

ROSEMOUNT, Minn. - The No. 14 NIACC baseball team continued its offensive onslaught Wednesday, totaling 27 runs in a two-game sweep of Dakota County (Minn.).
The Trojans won the opener 16-10 and the nightcap 11-1 in five innings behind a 10-run second inning.
NIACC has scored 11 or more runs in 5 of its last 6 games.
"Offensively, we were really, really good tonight," Hergert said.
Malique Ziegler drove in six runs on the afternoon while Spencer Halloran clubbed a home run in the opener. Austin LaDoux doubled in each game and drove in three in the nightcap.

NIACC (27-11) hosts Iowa Central in a four-game set beginning Friday.
Hergert said the games have been moved to Friday and Saturday to avoid potential rain.
