MIDWEST CITY, Okla. — The No. 13 NIACC baseball team split a doubleheader with Rose State College on Tuesday, losing once during the game's last at-bat and winning a 10-inning marathon.
The Trojans saw a 3-2 lead disappear in the seventh inning in a 4-3 walk-off loss in the opener before scoring five times in the 10th inning of a 6-1 victory to snap a three-game losing streak.
Antonio Rivera and Tyler Jacobsen combined to throw all 10 innings in the nightcap, with Jacobsen striking out five and walking none in six innings of work.
With a double in the second game, Robbie Glendinning set the school's all-time doubles mark at 32.
