PRATT, Kan. — The No. 13 (NJCAA Division II) NIACC baseball team fell to 11-5 on the season with a 16-6 loss in seven innings to Pratt Community College on Wednesday.
The Trojans allowed 13 hits, including six for extra bases, in the loss and also allowed 12 runners to reach base via bases on balls or hit by pitches.
"Allowing that many guys to reach base definitely isn't a recipe for success," NIACC coach Travis Hergert said.
Offensively, Brandon Michie had two hits, including a double, and drove in three. Connor Enochs added a pair of solo home runs, Robbie Glendinning had a double while Austin LaDoux had two singles for NIACC.
"Both Brandon and Connor have been really good for us on the trip," Hergert said. "Connor had a great approach at the plate. We just need to piece things together with the rest of the lineup."
NIACC faces Barton Community College in a doubleheader at 1 p.m. today.
