OXFORD, Ala. - The No. 17 (NJCAA Division II) NIACC softball team dropped a 7-4 decision to Copiah-Lincoln CC on Saturday at the Choccolocco Jam.
Copiah-Lincoln CC scored a single run in the second inning, three runs in the third inning, one run in the fifth inning and two runs in the sixth inning. NIACC scored two runs in the first inning and two runs in the sixth frame.
NIACC's Ally Wall drove in two runs and Emma Wall had two hits and drove in a run.
The Trojans' Kennedi McGarvey collected her first career double.
NIACC (1-4 overall) returns to action Friday with a pair of games in Shawnee, Kan. The Trojans face Neosho County CC at 10 a.m. and NDSCS at 12:15 p.m.
