No. 17 Trojans edge Williston State College, 71-67

DEVILS LAKE, N.D. - The No. 17 NIACC women's basketball team nipped Williston State College 71-67 Sunday morning on the second day of the Lake Region State College Classic.
NIACC (4-0 overall) outscored Williston State College 24-10 in the fourth quarter to claim the four-point win.
Sophomore guard Reggi Spotts, who scored a career-high 29 points on Saturday against Lake Region State College, led the Trojans with 20 points. Spotts also had three rebounds, three steals and one assists.
NIACC also received 16 points, five rebounds, three assists and one steal from freshman Peyton Meincke. The Trojans' Ciara Seifert recorded a double/double with 12 points and a game-high 13 rebounds.
The Trojans' Elayna VanNett scored seven points and Zaria Falls scored five points. Taylor Hemann collected six rebounds and dished out four assists and Machaela Trask grabbed seven rebounds.
NIACC returns to action Friday and Saturday at the Kirkwood Classic in Cedar Rapids. The Trojans face Bryant & Stratton (Wisconsin) at 5 p.m. on Friday and the Mount Mercy University Junior Varsity at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
