Trojans move up spot to 14th in latest poll
- Trojans remain in top 25 for 8th straight poll
- Trojans return to action Wednesday against No. 17 DMACC
MASON CITY - The NIACC women's basketball team is ranked No. 14 in the NJCAA Division II poll released Tuesday.
NIACC (12-2 overall, 6-2 in the ICCAC) was No. 15 in the Dec. 15 poll. The Trojans topped Marshalltown CC 60-59 and Central CC-Columbus 109-58 since the Dec. 15 poll.
The Trojans have been ranked in all of the eight of polls in the 2025-26 season. The Trojans were ranked as high as No. 11 in the Dec. 1 poll.
Johnson County CC (16-0) remained at No. 1 in this week's poll and Illinois Central College (14-1) is ranked No. 2 and Kirkwood (13-1) is ranked No. 3.
Iowa Lakes (11-3) is ranked No. 16 and DMACC (13-2) is ranked No. 17.
NIACC returns to action Wednesday at home against DMACC in an ICCAC contest. Game time in the NIACC gym is slated for 5:30 p.m.
